Episode 284 gives advice about Workamper job-finding, job pay, RV size, resumes and more!

Today we have a special episode of The Workamper Show podcast. We are sharing the audio recording of the May 2024 Workamping question-and-answer webinar hosted by Workamper News.

As the creators of the Workamping industry and community, Workamper News is the best resource for learning all about how to enjoy a successful Workamping lifestyle. But, sometimes it can seem overwhelming to learn all there is to know about Workamping.

In fact, newcomers often don’t even know what questions to ask. That’s the best time to start learning!

During this episode, Jody Anderson Duquette, who owns Workamper News along with her husband, Luke, answers questions submitted by folks who registered for the webinar.

Although Jody covers a lot of questions in this session, some of them include turning a hobby into a Workamping job, finding remote work, questions to ask employers, determining true compensation of a Workamping job, the type of RVs allowed in campgrounds, and what to include in a resume.

Workamper News has done many Q&A webinars over the last few years. Each webinar was recorded and the recordings are available on the Workamper News YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/workamper.

You’ll often hear some of the same questions asked and answered during each session, but each video also features a bunch of new and different questions as well.

When you pull up one of the Q&A videos on the Workamper YouTube channel, you’ll find a list of all the questions answered during that session in the video’s description. The answers are time-stamped with a link that lets you jump right to the answer.

That way, you can find an episode which talks about a topic you’re interested in, click on the link and listen just to that answer. Best of all, the sessions are free.

This episode is longer than most of the others we have produced, but that’s because it’s chock full of helpful information designed to make your Workamping experience super successful.

Workamper News has been doing these webinars live since 2022. However, each webinar was recorded and the recordings are available on the Workamper News YouTube channel at www.youtube.com/workamper.

Jody plans to do more Q&A webinar sessions, but there is no set schedule at this time. They are free to attend, but people do need to register to participate and submit their questions. It’s easy to do. Just visit www.workamper.com/events.

That’s all we have for this week’s show. Next week, I will be speaking with a company that can really be a lifesaver if you get into an accident or have an illness wherever you may be traveling. I’ll have that interview on the next episode of The Workamper Show. Thanks for listening!
